Congratulations to BU8O, BU14O, BU15P, and GU12O who all won their age groups at the Hawk's Cup. GU9O was a finalist and lost the championship in a shootout, and BU17P were also finalists.

Chicago Edge Tryout Registration Now Open
Open tryouts for the combined OPRF Striker and River Forest Rapids Clubs will be held starting in mid-May for high school age players and late May/early June for all U8-U14 players.
All current Striker and Rapids players and new players must tryout each year. For best team placement results U11-U14 players must attend both tryout sessions. Tuesday-Thursday tryouts May 29-31 will be at Priory Park in River Forest (Harlem and Division) for boys and Centennial Park in River Forest (Chicago and Lathrop) for girls. Friday-Saturday tryouts June 1-2 will be at OPRFHS Lake Street field for everyone.

SCAM ALERT!!
STRIKER FAMILIES,
The sightings of young (20s) age adults peddling items to raise money for Strikers continue to be brought to my attention. The latest sighting (5/17) is again in Roscoe Village. Please contact the office if you have contact with anyone "representing Strikers" in connection with this scam.
A man in his mid to late 20's and a woman in her early 20's are going door to door claiming they are raising money for "the Strikers." The story is that one of our older girls/boys (Varies) teams has qualified for a big tournament in Cambridge (England) and are needing money to stay in King's College dorm. The final of this supposed tournament is to be played at Wembley.
Please do not fall for this scam - we do not go door to door raising money for the club ever.
